Our client are seeking a proactive and hands-on Print & Embroidery Manager to oversee all aspects of their garment embellishment production. This role combines team leadership with practical, day-to-day machine operation, ensuring production targets are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all print and embroidery activities and team members
* Plan and structure workflow throughout the year, including bulk DTF transfer production in quiet periods
* Manage and train seasonal staff during peak periods
* Operate, maintain, and clean machinery
* Oversee use of the Plotter (vinyl transfer machine)
* Support embroidery production, including operating and overseeing the embroidery machine
* Inspect products for accuracy, detect and correct stitching or production defects, and regulate machine settings
* Design & File Management
* Liaise with external screen printers to coordinate weekly job flows
* Work closely with the Order Fulfilment team to ensure customer requirements are met
* Provide guidance on logo size, placement, and design feasibility.
* Order supplies
* Drive the Company van as required.
Experience & Skills Required
* Strong competency in Adobe Illustrator (essential).
* Previous experience with DTF printing, plotters, or embroidery machinery is advantageous (full training is provided).
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to work well under pressure, particularly during peak seasons.
* Strong organisational and workflow management skills.
* Full UK driving licence (required for occasional van driving).
