Part-time Domestic Assistant / Cleaner Maternity Cover (Required for as soon as possible)

St Edmunds College requires a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner to cover a period of maternity leave. The hours are Monday to Friday, 5.30am to 10.00am (please do contact us if you wish to discuss different hours as there may be some flexibility).
Occasional weekend work may be offered, along with additional hours.
You will provide a service to the students and staff as well as organisations that use the premises. Therefore, each individual, is expected to be part of a team.
Whilst not in a teaching role, as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes childrens barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyones responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
