(Junior) Electrical Design Engineer – Solar + BESS | London (3x p/w)

The Role
You'll join a growing technical team at a Major European EPC supporting the design and delivery of large‐scale solar and energy‐storage projects. Working alongside senior engineers, you'll help produce electrical designs, specifications, and technical documentation across LV/MV systems, protection, SCADA, and grid‐connected assets.
This is a Junior Level role, so support with the Project Team will be on hand, alongside an active program to build up your skills in the Electrical Engineering space.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with LV, MV and HV electrical design
* Produce CAD drawings, schematics, and design deliverables
* Support protection, earthing, and SCADA specifications
* Contribute to tenders, proposals, and technical reports
* Ensure compliance with IEC standards and internal ISO processes
* Support FAT/SAT activities and site engineering when required
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or close
* Initial experience in power systems, renewables, or electrical design
* Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to PVSyst, DigSilent, or similar tools is a bonus
* Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
* Full UK driving licence & ability to work in London 3x per week.
