What will you be doing?
Your duties include maintaining health and safety standards, conducting quality assurance checks, site housekeeping, and managing daily recycling site operations under the supervision of the Waste Recycling Site Supervisor.
Work schedule: 5 days/week, 10 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Saturday work may be required. Bank holidays are typically off.
Key Tasks
* Conduct daily inspections on machinery and mobile plant.
* Operate machinery safely, following H&S policies and risk assessments.
* Maintain a well-organized waste site and communicate regularly with supervisors.
* Monitor waste levels and ensure proper segregation and storage of waste streams.
* Participate in training and promote a positive work environment.
* Report near misses, incidents, and accidents.
What are we looking for?
* Mobile Plant Operator License
* Experience with loading shovels, 360 machines, and forklifts
* Knowledge of waste management processes
* Hands-on experience operating machinery and handling waste
* Self-motivated, problem solver, team player
* Willingness to undertake training
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £34,450.00 per annum
