About Us
Carrant Brook Junior School provides excellent facilities for children aged 7-11. We believe that our main strengths are our caring, happy atmosphere, knowing our children well and catering to their individual needs. We make the lessons interesting, so that the children enjoy their learning and are motivated to succeed during their time with us. We provide a stimulating environment where children are presented with a wide range of exciting and challenging experiences, which enable them to develop as individuals, reach their full potential and succeed in life. As a school within the GLA Trust we learn from each other, share best practice and collaborate to ensure the highest outcomes for all the children across the Trust. In addition, all staff benefit from the exceptional GLA CPD offer as well as the CPD programme through the Tewkesbury District Partnership of Schools (TDP). This means that there is opportunity for further support, training and development at every level. We believe that education needs to be a partnership between home and school, and we work hard to develop mutual understanding and trust with our parents. Our School Ethos is Together We Learn and Grow and our Core Values (Caring, Confident, Inspired, Aspirational, Resilient and Responsible) are at the heart of everything we do. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons and must ensure that the highest priority is given following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Baring Service and qualification checks. The GLA is an equal opportunities employer.
