We are currently working in partnership with a company based in
Worcester
, who are recruiting for a
Group Accountant
on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start ASAP dependant on notice and the salary on offer is between
£45,000-£55,000
, dependent on experience. They offer a hybrid working policy of three days per week in the office and
two WFH
.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, pragmatic and committed to helping the team achieve the Group's objectives.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Consolidation of results from the UK and overseas operating divisions around the group
* Monthly and statutory reporting, for various stakeholders – such as the executive board and lending banks
* Working with the finance teams made up of various FDs across the international group
* Supplying the Board with data for key commercial / strategic purposes, and producing ad-hoc analyses for M&A and financing
* Assisting with continuous improvement of reporting system, working with our external IT consultants
* Working with various external advisors on other financial reporting-related projects
* Working with newly acquired businesses to help on-board them with Group processes
* Maintaining head office accounts
Experience required:
* Advanced knowledge of excel
* Experience working in practice or industry
* Consolidation experience beneficial but not essential
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
