Job Description
An iconic public sector organisation is currently recruiting for a Head of Procurement Business Partnering on an interim basis for a 6 month initial contract.
This will be on a day rate of £700 - £800 per day inside IR35 (umbrella). They will offer hybrid working with 3 days per week on site required.
About the Role
Lead their Commercial Leads and drive excellence across procurement operations. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on developing category strategies, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and embedding responsible procurement practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of Commercial Leads, fostering high performance and collaboration.
2. Develop and implement pipeline and category strategies aligned with business objectives.
3. Create dashboard reporting tools for key stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
4. Establish and refine ways of working to strengthen business partnering, including stakeholder engagement plans.
5. Review and reshape category boards to improve governance and strategic alignment.
6. Build a robust Commercial Service reporting framework.
7. Design and deliver a team capability development plan.
