Offer description

National Impact Capital is Seeking an Experienced General Partner

Total Annual Compensation: $800,000 – $25 million+ (including bonuses and carried interest potential)

Summary of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced General Partner (GP) to co-lead our impact investment fund’s vision, shape investment strategies, and drive portfolio growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with fellow highly experienced and dynamic GPs and senior executives to identify innovative investment opportunities, execute deals, and guide our impact initiatives. Success in this role means leveraging your expertise to build a high-performing team, cultivate strong investor relationships, and position the firm as a leader in impact investing—delivering competitive financial returns while creating lasting social and environmental benefits.

This role offers the unique advantage of starting with a pipeline of high-value, strategic investments already on the table—meaning you will be able to present compelling deals to investors from day one, rather than seeking capital without specific opportunities.

As a forward-thinking venture capital and private equity firm, we leverage access and close relationships with a broad network of over $300 billion in partner capital from ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. This diverse resource enables us to invest across various sectors..

How This Role Fits into the Organization:

The GP will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction of the firm, collaborating with other GPs to develop investment theses, and expanding our strong financial returns coupled with an impact footprint. Your leadership will help attract top talent, foster industry relationships, and solidify our reputation as a pioneer in responsible and impactful investing.

Responsibilities
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and strategic partners, leading capital raising efforts to support current and future funds.
* Collaborate with fellow General Partners and senior leadership to define and refine the firm’s overall investment strategy, focusing on sectors such as renewable energy, healthcare, sustainable agriculture, and social initiatives.
* Co-lead deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment decision-making, ensuring a rigorous process that aligns with our impact and financial objectives.
* Oversee and support the management of portfolio companies, ensuring they meet key performance, impact, and governance standards.
* Work closely with other GPs to analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and innovate our investment approach.
* Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and impact forums, elevating our profile as a leader in impact investing.
* Mentor and develop investment team members, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and impact-driven decision-making.
* Ensure adherence to best practices in governance, impact measurement, and compliance across the portfolio.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated success in capital raising, with an established network of institutional investors, family offices, and strategic partners.
* Extensive senior experience in private equity, venture capital, or impact investing, ideally as a Partner or in a leadership role with a proven track record of sourcing and managing successful investments.
