About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for immediate placement at a school in Havant. This position involves leading a small group of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will be passionate about using a curriculum to support children’s academic and emotional development while fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities of the SEN Primary Teacher Role:
* Deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
* Implement strategies and interventions to support learning, communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement EHCPs and support plans.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that promotes resilience and confidence.
Requirements for the SEN Primary Teacher Role:
* Hold QTS/PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD).
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs.
Additional Requirements:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
