Our client is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher initially on a temporary basis, however, it could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. You will have experience of working with children and young people with diverse needs, exceptional teaching skills, and a strong commitment to inclusive education. Key responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN * Develop, implement and monitor Individualised Education Plans * Use innovative teaching strategies to maximise student learning and development * Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment * Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external specialists to ensure the best outcomes for students * Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress effectively Essential Skills and Qualifications: * QTS with experience in teaching children with SEN * Strong understanding of SEN frameworks and inclusive education practices * Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills * Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs * A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to making a difference in students lives Desirable Attributes: * Additional training in SEN - specific teaching methods eg Autism Spectrum Disorders, Speech and Language support * Experience with assistive technologies and tools for SEN * Patience, empathy and resilience in challenging situations Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people is a priority for us and all candidates will be subject to satisfactory references and DBS check
