We're working with a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor that is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of key framework projects across the North of Scotland. As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll be a visible leader across sites, building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams while driving performance and maintaining a positive safety culture.
The Role
·Managing multiple framework projects across the region.
·Leading project teams and ensuring efficient, profitable delivery.
·Building and maintaining strong client and supply chain relationships.
·Monitoring budgets, programme performance, and commercial reporting.
·Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
·Supporting the development and mentoring of site teams.
·Identifying opportunities for business growth and community engagement.
·Reporting project performance and key updates to senior management.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who have a proven track record of successfully delivering civil engineering projects and frameworks from cradle to grave.
You'll ideally have:
·Strong experience delivering civil engineering contracts and framework programmes.
·A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
·Experience overseeing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
·Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
·Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
·A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
·A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Qualifications
·SMSTS
·CSCS Supervisor Card
·Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
·Water industry experience.
·Confined Space or other relevant site-based training.
·Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project software.
·Experience contributing to business development and regional growth.
