Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Poole, Dorset Salary: £12.82 per hour Start: Immediate or September 2025 Contract: Full-time, (Part-time arranged for the right candidate) GSL Education are inviting applications for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role for joining a welcoming mainstream primary school in Poole, ideal for those passionate about inclusive education and keen to support young learners in mainstream primary schools. In this vital classroom-based role, you will provide targeted support to children within a mainstream primary school, helping pupils achieve their learning goals and feel confident in the classroom. Working under the guidance of class teachers and SENCOs, you’ll contribute to a nurturing and engaging environment for all learners. Job Responsibilities: Provide classroom support across a range of subjects and learning activities. Assist with small group work and 1:1 support for pupils who may require additional guidance. Promote inclusion and help foster a positive learning atmosphere. Aid in classroom preparation and behaviour management as directed by teaching staff. Liaise with teachers and other staff to monitor pupil progress and development. Encourage pupils’ personal development, confidence, and independence. Job Requirements: Previous experience in a Learning Support, Teaching Assistant, or similar role. Understanding of learning difficulties and SEN needs, including Speech and Language Delays, Autism, and ADHD. Experienced teachers who want flexible work are encouraged to apply.
