The role
* Assisting and working closely with senior team members on a varied family caseload
* Exposure to mid to high-net-worth financial remedy work, alongside children matters and cohabitation/TOLATA disputes
* Supporting on and progressing matters including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation arrangements
* Drafting, reviewing and analysing a wide range of legal documentation
* Advising clients clearly and sensitively, ensuring they feel supported throughout what are often difficult circumstances
* Identifying legal risks, analysing issues and contributing to effective, practical solutions
* Handling client queries and correspondence in a proactive and timely manner
* Undertaking legal research where required
* Supporting business development initiatives and helping to grow the team’s presence in the market
* Assisting in the supervision and development of junior colleagues

You
* Qualified Solicitor or MCILEX/FCILEX with at least 2 years’ PQE in family law
* Comfortable assisting on a broad range of matters including finances, children work and cohabitation disputes
* Able to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced but supportive environment
* Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with a genuine appreciation for the sensitivity required in family law
* Detail-oriented, organised and proactive in your approach
* A team player who can also work independently when required
* Interested in developing technically while building long-term client relationships
