Senior Gifting Manager
London – Full Time
ELEMIS | A Global British Luxury Skincare Brand & Proud B Corp
Location: Baker Street (Hybrid 3 days per week in office)
At ELEMIS, our people and our purpose sit at the heart of everything we do. Since 1989, we’ve grown into a global British skincare leader with strong UK and U.S. presence and an expanding international footprint. As a certified B Corp, we’re committed to creating products and experiences that deliver results while caring for our planet and communities.
We are now seeking a Senior Gifting Manager to shape, build and elevate our global gifting function. This is a unique opportunity to establish the systems, processes and foundations for an evolving gifting department. You will design how this function operates, introduce new ways of working, and define the long‑term strategy that supports our ambitious growth plans.
In the early stages, this role will require a hands‑on approach as you embed frameworks, refine processes and partner closely with teams across the business. Over time, the role will evolve into a more strategic leadership position, guiding global gifting direction, elevating brand execution and driving commercial performance.
You will be the central link between Creative, Commercial, NPD, Operations, Procurement and global suppliers — ensuring gifting is delivered beautifully, efficiently and strategically around the world.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Leadership and Department Build
• Lead the creation of a 2–3 year global gifting strategy while designing the operating model, tools and processes for an evolving function.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Commercial, Marketing and Brand Management, ensuring gifting aligns to brand priorities, market needs and marketing calendars.
• Build and refine frameworks that will set the standard for all future gifting, seasonal programs, GWPs and partnership initiatives.
• Establish ways of working across teams, creating smooth integration between creative development, commercial objectives and operational realities.
Hands‑On Ownership in the Build Phase
• Initially take on end‑to‑end management of gifting and promotional packaging while systems, processes and team structures are established.
• Act as the key contact for Far East suppliers, managing feasibility, materials, specifications, costings and sampling.
• Create and refine packaging structures, cutter guides, substrates and production‑ready technical files.
• Ensure global regulatory requirements are met, including INCI, copy, claims, multilingual packs and SKU setup.
Supplier, Procurement and Commercial Interface
• Lead supplier relationships and manage onboarding, negotiations, costing and production readiness.
• Align closely with Procurement on benchmarking and cost optimisation across global markets.
• Anticipate supply constraints and plan for lead times, freight considerations and cross‑market cost implications.
Critical Path, Production Planning and Quality
• Partner with Demand Planning and Operations to guide timelines, dependencies and risk considerations.
• Oversee all sample management including white samples, proofs, PPS and print checks.
• Approve structures and pre‑production samples while driving sustainability commitments across Climate, Biodiversity and People pillars.
What You Bring
Eight to ten years of experience across gifting, packaging, NPD or senior marketing roles in beauty, luxury, FMCG or retail.
• Expertise in bags, card formats, gift sets and promotional packaging.
• Strong technical understanding of print processes, substrates, structural design and production artwork.
• Experience working with Far East suppliers and managing global supply chains.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, including costing, COGs management and margin protection.
• A builder’s mindset with the ability to design processes while confidently rolling up your sleeves.
• A collaborative style, strong stakeholder influence and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach.
