Contract: Full Time, 37 hours per week (minimum two days in the office, with flexibility depending on business needs).

We have an exciting opportunity in our Housing team for an experienced, innovative, and highly motivated Allocations Operations Manager to drive our allocation and lettings service.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, local authorities, customers, and other key partners to achieve high customer satisfaction and develop strong relationships.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of advertising and allocating homes, be a strong leader, and have demonstrable experience in team management and service enhancement.
Main Job Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the Allocations team, developing skills to meet customer and business needs.
2. Motivate and encourage the team to work innovatively, flexibly, and collaboratively.
3. Support the development and implementation of allocations-related strategies, policies, and initiatives.
4. Review and improve the service quality, ensuring high standards when letting homes.
5. Oversee the reletting of homes and new build allocations, minimizing void times and ensuring fair allocation.
6. Lead marketing strategies for homes to ensure timely letting.
7. Encourage customer engagement and deliver customer-driven improvements.
Candidate Profile
* Ideally working towards or willing to pursue a Level 4 Housing qualification and CIH membership.
* Relevant experience in Housing, with knowledge of lettings and service improvement.
* Experience in marketing and advertising homes.
* Proven ability to develop allocation strategies, deliver value, and reduce costs.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performance teams.
* Knowledge of housing legislation, statutory requirements, and operational practices.
* Excellent communication and IT skills with a customer-focused approach.
