Are you a driven, passionate individual looking for a new challenge? The come and join our fantastic Imaging team as a Higher Level Imaging Assistant! The post duties are varied and challenging and include providing support to patients, Consultants, Radiographers, Sonographers and other team members in the Imaging Department before, during and after examinations. Full training will be given for this post, but a genuine desire to work within a team providing a high quality of patient care is essential. You will work in the imaging rooms (X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, CT scan and Ultrasound) with colleagues to provide the best possible patient care, ensuring equipment is available and maintaining accurate patient records in line with information governance. You will be expected to organize workflow for the area you are working in and assist in minor procedures. You must be a caring person with empathy for your patients and an understanding of their needs and concerns. You will work alongside doctors, advanced practitioners, and other radiographers to support them in examinations and procedures. This is a clinical role which is key to the smooth running of the department. You will be flexible in your attitude to work as there is a requirement to work out of hours, at weekends and Bank holidays.
