About the School and Network
We are proud to be the only University accredited laboratory school in Norfolk. As a Laboratory School, we are committed to research-based practice which is strengthened through peer-to-peer learning, ongoing professional development and collaboration with other schools and partners. There is also the opportunity for the exploration of educational practice through Masters and Doctoral degrees as well as funded research projects. A Laboratory School is a network of schools, linked to a University, who are committed to using research and collaboration to help them grow even stronger. Whilst there are accredited schools all over the world, we were the first in Norfolk to be selected. We were approached to be part of the University Laboratory School network because of our Good OFSTED rating, our strong exam results, our ethos and our record of researched-based pedagogy.
