A friendly and inclusive secondary school inEast London is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its established inclusion and support team.
This full-time, long-term position provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.
The role offers a daily rate of up to £110, depending on experience.
The Role:
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support across a range of subjects and year groups
Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure lessons are engaging and accessible for all learners
Support the SENCO and inclusion team in delivering personalised interventions and tracking progress
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence both in and out of the classroom
The School Is Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally including exposure to SEND
Strong communication skills and the ability to form positive, professional relationships
A calm, flexible, and proactive approach within a busy school environment
A genuine passion for supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
