Job Title: Lift Engineer
Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum
Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm

* West Country area – Exeter / Torquay
Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer / LOLER Inspector to carry out statutory inspections and assessments on a wide range of lifting equipment. The role requires a high standard of safety awareness, technical competence, and customer service.
Tasks
* Carry out statutory LOLER and insurance inspections on lifting equipment
* Attend client sites and issue detailed inspection reports
* Complete condition surveys of existing lift installations
* Assess compliance with Health & Safety and DDA regulations
* Provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement solutions
* Conduct equipment and maintenance audits
* Diagnose faults and assess lift performance
* Complete all certification and paperwork accurately and on time
* Travel independently to customer sites as required
* Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge
* Work safely at all times and deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
Requirements (Essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, and inspections
* Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
* Strong understanding of current Health & Safety regulations
* Good written and spoken English
* Full UK driving licence

* DBS check – valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
