We are looking for dedicated graduates to work in a small, specialist school in Godalming. The school caters to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, focusing on individual happiness and well-being to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This role offers essential restorative experience within challenging settings—ideal for those considering careers in probation, rehabilitation, prison, or youth justice services.
As an Aspiring Social Worker, you will gain hands-on experience working with vulnerable children, building strong relationships to enhance their engagement, attainment, and life chances, aiming to prevent their entry into the criminal justice system. You will collaborate with teachers and specialists to support students facing SEMH challenges and traumas, providing consistency and empowering children with tools to feel safe, secure, and capable of success.
