HGV Technician required in Saltash
1. Salary £37,000 - £43,000 basic depending on experience
2. Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30 / 13:30-22:00 alternating weeks
Our Client a well-known Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group are seeking a HGV Technician for their team based in Saltash.

Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:
9. Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
10. Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
11. Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
12. Liaise with parts department to attain parts
13. Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to ensure appropriate clocking is made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner.
14. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
15. Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses.
What our Client expects of their HGV Technician:
16. Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or Time Served
17. Current driving licence.
18. HGV Licence isn’t essential but preferable
19. Must be able to provide a consistent job history.
