Join our client's team as a Senior Accountant based in rural Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established accountancy practice, where you'll play a key role in supporting a diverse client portfolio.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be hands-on, client-facing, and instrumental in delivering high-quality accounting services. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and is confident working within a fast-paced practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
6. Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders and limited companies
7. Completing corporation tax computations and returns accurately and on time
8. Managing and supporting client credit control, including monitoring balances and chasing outstanding payments
9. Liaising directly with clients regarding accounts, tax matters, and queries, offering clear and professional advice
10. Daily use of Xero, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting
11. Supporting and overseeing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with legislation and deadlines
12. Using TaxCalc and other accountancy software as required
13. Managing multiple client workloads effectively, prioritising deadlines with excellent attention to detail
14. Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong, long-term client relationships
What We're Looking For
15. Proven experience using Xero Accounting Software
16. Recent experience within an Accountancy Practice
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
18. A professional and client-focused approach, with first-class customer service skills
