As a Procurement Manager, you'll be working within the team, supporting sourcing, negotiation, and governance of goods and subcontract procurement. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring adherence to procurement policies of both Kier Group and Framework.
* Supporting the Procurement / Commercial Lead in developing Framework procurement strategy.
* Ensuring subcontractors and suppliers have the relevant Health and Safety Accreditation, Sustainability, and Carbon reduction policies aligned with Kier's standards.
* Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure specific clauses in client contracts are flowed down, balancing contractual risks and KPIs, and working with budgets and estimating outputs to assess selection criteria.
* Developing and owning preferred suppliers and strategic partnerships to deliver value, ensuring these providers can deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
You're an experienced professional responsible for strategic project-level decisions, with experience within the infrastructure/utilities sector, including civil engineering and MEICA requirements.
You should hold a degree related to the industry and a chartered status or appropriate professional qualification.
Knowledge of SAP SRM and Jaggaer systems is also required.
