Were looking for passionate Senior Digital Project Managers to lead across multiple impactful digital projects. Youll work with cross-functional teams to deliver change, maintain core systems, and develop new services that support millions of people. Yousll ensure robust project controls, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain clear governance and reporting. Youll communicate effectively with Digital Directors and navigate complex issues that may require board-level decisions. Youll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve results, foster a high-performing team culture, coach others to improve flow, quality, and ownership, and address conflict constructively. Youll champion continuous learning in project management, digital frameworks, and emerging technologies, mentoring others and helping shape standards across the wider delivery community.
Responsibilities
* Lead across multiple large-scale digital projects with internal and external suppliers.
* Establish agile processes and new teams in relation to project deliverables and BAU tasks.
* Manage complex external dependencies with careful planning to maintain pace and quality of delivery.
* Communicate clearly and enthusiastically to build trust and influence senior decision-making.
* Identify and pursue development opportunities for you and your team to enhance delivery outcomes.
* Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and delivery of large-scale projects.
Qualifications & Assessment

* History of taking full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of large-scale complex projects, preferably transformation, using both internal and external suppliers.
* Experience establishing new teams and agile processes related to project deliverables and BAU tasks.
* Experience managing complex external dependencies that require significant planning and prioritisation to maintain pace and quality.
* Clear, honest, and enthusiastic communication to build trust and influence senior decisions.
* Identify and pursue development opportunities for yourself and your team to enhance delivery outcomes.
* Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager responsible for large-scale complex projects with internal/external suppliers.
Details, Wages & Perks
Location: Youll join us in one of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We operate a hybrid model—some time at home and some time in a hub.
Pay: Up to £68,205.
Pension: Civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%.
Holidays: 26 days starting, rising to 31 days over time, plus up to 3 extra flexi days per month and public holidays.
