Benefits and Efficiencies Analyst - 32067
The Environment Agency is establishing two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The PMO is focused on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. The team shapes and optimises project Portfolios, ensures strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation, with development opportunities and strong support from the team.
You will be an important part of the PMO, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to set the standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help our teams identify, value and validate their project benefits.
The Team You’ll join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Transformation Team of the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation, and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
