Hays Health & Safety is working with a leader in the construction industry based in the Blackpool area to find their next proactive and driven Health & Safety Coordinator to join their growing organization.
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in sharing the workload and managing Health & Safety documentation, ensuring it is current and of high quality.
They are seeking an individual with over 12 months of experience in a Health & Safety role within construction and holding a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
The role
* Support general Health & Safety duties such as undertaking RAMS, audits, and toolbox talks.
* Promote a positive Health & Safety culture.
* Utilize knowledge of legislation to ensure site compliance and advise key stakeholders and contractors.
* Collect, analyze, and present data to team leaders to drive continuous improvement.
* Review current risk assessments and audit documentation.
* Identify trends and patterns from site reports.
The candidate
* Ideally 12 months+ experience as a Health & Safety professional in construction.
* Qualified to NEBOSH General or similar.
* A CSCS card is advantageous.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
The Package
A salary of up to £32,000 is offered for the right candidate.
