We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Systems Test Engineer to join our strategic engineering team in Glasgow. The role involves working on advanced ground‑breaking defence programmes, focusing on real‑time system modelling and simulation, system integration, verification and production testing.

About the Role
 * Design, develop and support Automated Test Solutions across the product portfolio.
 * Recommend and implement validation approaches, expanding test services.
 * Integrate solutions with software, hardware and firmware architectures.
 * Report, monitor and document test results; perform detailed functional measurements.
 * Provide on‑site support to existing Automated Test Equipment at our Glasgow facility.
About You
 * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
 * Good understanding of electronic components, integrated circuitry, PCB and algorithms.
 * Experience leading the development of technical solutions.
 * Commitment to high engineering standards.
 * Experience in automated modelling, simulation or test methods.
Desired Experience
 * Electronic Engineering degree or related discipline.
 * Experience with LabVIEW or similar applications.
 * Proficiency with NI FPGA software and PXI based equipment (advantageous).
 * Hands‑on test equipment skills (light sources, oscilloscopes, acquisition boards, amplifiers, switches, etc.).
 * Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Security Clearance Statement
This role requires a UK National and a Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. Successful applicants must obtain and maintain DV clearance before commencing employment.
