* Junior / Assistant Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with a degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
* Relevant professional experience and actively working towards chartered status.
* Strong collaborative relationships working on diverse strategic projects across infrastructure and energy sectors.
* Good academic background in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
* Understanding of ground investigation techniques.
* Proven site experience including ground investigation supervision, site walkover surveys/geotechnical inspections.
* Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks.
* Experience with general numerical software such as Geostudio, Requite, Wallap etc.
* Working towards Chartered status.
* Experience in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
* Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
* Willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas.
* Valid UK driving licence.
