Groundwork Foreman – Residential Development

Project: Groundworks Package – New Build Residential Development
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Groundwork Foreman to oversee the groundwork package for a new-build residential development in Canterbury, starting in August 2025. This is a great opportunity to lead a skilled team on a high-quality housing project.Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate groundwork teams on site.
2. Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification
3. Manage daily site activities including excavation, drainage, foundations, and external works
4. Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
5. Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control
Ideal Candidate:
6. Proven experience as a Groundwork Foreman on residential projects
7. Strong leadership andmunication skills
8. Knowledge of groundwork processes including drainage, foundations, and site preparation
9. SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
