Principal Asset Management Consultant - Water role at AECOM, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide support to deliver digital solutions.
* Deliver high-quality technical services to the measurable satisfaction of clients.
* Support the development of technical strategies and technical assurance within discipline.
* Contribute to the development of AECOM’s technical capability, helping to strengthen our ability to deliver value to clients.
* Support and guide the technical, personal, and professional development of junior team members.
* Engage in discipline-specific activities and collaborate across the wider business, contributing technical awareness to drive innovation and support business intelligence.
* Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members and throughout the business.
* Participate in knowledge sharing and process standardisation across the discipline group.
Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) in appropriate discipline, such as engineering or geography.
* Obtained or working towards professional membership of a recognised institution.
* Experience with large datasets related to asset characteristics and performance, including awareness of their acquisition, management, and analysis.
* Exposure to delivering or supporting digital solutions integrating data capture, management, analysis, and visualisation.
* Knowledge of asset management principles and their application within the water sector regulatory framework.
* Familiarity with project management – supporting technical delivery, monitoring quality and costs.
* Proficiency in one or more of the following: ArcGIS, QGIS, FME; Microsoft SQL; R and Python.
