We are currently working in partnership with a Charity based in London, who are recruiting for Support Workers to join their team on a permanent basis. These positions are based at several sites across London and the annual salary is £27,000.
The ideal candidate MUST have an Enhanced DBS.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Supporting individuals with getting up and ready for the day, personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and going to bed
2. Assisting with cleaning, laundry, food preparation, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
3. Supporting with managing health needs, taking medication, attending appointments, and maintaining mobility at home and in the community
4. Supporting individuals to go shopping, visit friends and family, attend cultural or faith centres, and take part in social activities
5. Providing support to develop money management skills, make choices about daily life, relationships, education, work, and holidays
6. Supporting individualsto participate in leisure activities, exercise, study, attend college or work, and enjoy trips or holidays (UK and abroad)
Experience required:
7. Experience providing support and care to vulnerable individuals
