What you will do
* Install and configure vehicle and people access solutions.
* Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, network devices, EV charging and other access control devices.
* Ensure that our access solutions operate as specified while providing reliable maintenance, repairs and class‑leading customer service.
* Escalate technical issues to the Technical Services Team and work together to achieve resolution.
* Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware and software with basic electrical knowledge.
* Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices, including installation and flashing firmware (Linux) and software configuration.
* Basic network technology – including TCP/IP protocols and the ability to analyse and solve technical network problems.
* Ability to work in car parks, stadia and construction environments and hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
* Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
