To succeed, you’ll need strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude and an analytical mindset.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Support the development and delivery of sustainability strategies across the business.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet environmental compliance and sustainability goals.
* Work with relevant stakeholders on projects focused on energy & carbon reduction, waste management and resource efficiency.
* Analyse data and prepare reports to track progress against key sustainability and environmental targets.
* Support group carbon reporting for factories and facilities.
* Review and drive improvement in the energy metering systems with JCB factories.
* Deliver actions to support Quality Assurance processes (e.g. BSI accreditation).
* Ensure adequate standard operating procedures are in place to allow JCB to report in line with best practice.
What comes next?
Applications are reviewed against essential criteria, short‑listing and online assessments will be sent out between November 2025 and January 2026. If progressed, you’ll receive an invitation to an in‑person Assessment Centre from January to April 2026. Following the Assessment Centre, feedback will be provided to all candidates. Successful applicants will proceed to onboarding, including a familiarisation day. Early Careers cohorts normally start in early September.
