A Day in the Life of a Front Office Supervisor
What you'll be doing:
* Leading the front desk team with friendliness and proactivity, ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for.
* Managing front desk operations smoothly, including check-ins and check-outs.
* Supporting and training front desk agents to maintain high standards.
* Handling guest inquiries and requests confidently, turning interactions into positive experiences.
* Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
* Overseeing reservations, billing, and guest accounts for accuracy.
* Participating in shift planning and scheduling.
* Taking ownership of the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
* Managing daily hotel operations as duty manager.
* Maintaining a welcoming front desk environment.
What We Need From You
* Experience in front desk or guest services, with some leadership skills preferred.
