Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Leicester.

Hours: Flexible working hours Monday - Friday between 6:00am - 10:00pm (Minimum 40 hours per week)
Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Duties:
* Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance across the site
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
* Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
* Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
* Complete maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when required
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures
* Manage maintenance activities independently within a standalone role
Requirements:
* Time-served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* 18th Edition qualified
* Completed an apprenticeship within General Engineering or Machining
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering diagrams
* Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Experience within plastics or injection moulding would be advantageous
* Experience working with hydraulic systems xsngvjr would be advantageous
