Job Title: Technical Supervisor
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Supervisor for our team in East London.
The successful candidate will serve as the regional point of contact for all technical service delivery on behalf of CBRE GWS. Responsibilities include executing maintenance work (planned, corrective, reactive), resource planning and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with legislation, industry guidance, and best practices. The goal is to deliver excellent service, optimize resource productivity, and minimize business interruptions.
Role Summary:
* Ensure technical services are delivered in compliance with legislative, client, and CBRE health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Act as the primary technical contact for all in/out of scope activities, providing technical support across various industrial services.
* Manage a team of technicians, maximizing self-performed work and managing subcontractors to ensure safety and compliance.
* Drive continuous improvement in technical service delivery as the Maintenance Excellence Champion.
* Manage budgets in collaboration with the Site Leader, and provide solutions and quotations for small projects.
* Identify opportunities for business growth through scope expansion and additional services.
* Perform maintenance and repair activities as needed, including emergency cover.
* Oversee on-site technical service delivery.
Experience Required:
* Proficiency in computer skills.
* Knowledge of EHS requirements.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
* Engineering background with skills in estimating labor, materials, and trades.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
* Understanding of maintenance processes, work order systems, and storeroom procedures.
* Capable of providing training and demonstrating specific job requirements.
* Practical maintenance and installation skills to lead by example.
