We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible Healthcare Assistant to join our established nursing team at Amberwood Ward, Little Brook Hospital, Dartford. The role involves providing care and support to in-patients experiencing acute mental health difficulties requiring inpatient admission.

What is High Cost Area Allowance?
The High-Cost Area (HCA) allowance, also known as London Weighting, is a payment made to employees working in London and surrounding areas.
Since this post is based in Dartford, Gravesham, or Swanley, the successful applicant will receive an additional payment each month: 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum of £1,258 per year and a maximum of £2,121 per year. This amount will be divided into 12 monthly payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promoting patients' self-care and supporting activities of daily living as per the care plan.
* Maintaining a clean and healthy environment and assisting patients with daily living skills.
* Escorting patients as required according to their care and treatment plan.
* Driving unit vehicles as needed and within individual capabilities.
* Serving food, assisting with cooking, and promoting self-catering to meet individual care needs.
