Job Title: Children’s Home Manager – 3 Bed EBD Home
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Successful Applicants
* Proven experience managing or deputy-managing a children’s home (EBD/SEMH preferred)
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* Strong knowledge of children’s residential legislation, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
* Confident leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills
* Calm, resilient, and child-focused, with a genuine commitment to improving young lives
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong, inspirational leadership to a dedicated care team
* Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
* Develop and implement high-quality care plans tailored to each young person
* Promote a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
* Manage staffing, rotas, supervision, and professional development
* Work effectively with placing authorities, families, and external professionals
* Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and behaviour support strategies
* Manage budgets and resources efficiently
