Job Description
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support business decisions.
* Collaborate with department heads to manage financial performance and address variances.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
* Oversee cash flow management, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
* Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
* Support the finance team in delivering key projects and initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
* Strong technical accounting skills and an understanding of management reporting.
* Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate financial data clearly.
