IT Technician Hybrid Working I'm currently recruiting for an IT Technician on behalf of a well-established professional services organisation that is investing heavily in its technology, security and infrastructure. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with at least a year's IT support experience who wants broader exposure across infrastructure, security, projects and compliance, including involvement in ISO 27001 readiness. The Role You'll support the day-to-day IT operations across the business, working closely with the Senior IT Manager and external providers to ensure systems are secure, reliable and efficient. You'll be responsible for: First line IT support Troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues Setting up and configuring laptops and mobile devices Managing user accounts and access permissions Supporting system updates, patching and maintenance Maintaining asset registers and documentation Assisting with IT security initiatives and audits Supporting ISO 27001 compliance activities Contributing to continuous improvement across IT services What I'm Looking For Experience in an IT support/technician role Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows knowledge Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Relevant IT qualification or equivalent hands-on experience Desirable: exposure to Azure/AWS, endpoint security, MDM, ITIL or ISO 27001.
