Your new role
As a Streetworks Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of utility infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:Liaising with local authorities to arrange permits and ensurepliance with NRSWA regulations.
Processing electronic notifications such as closures, registrations, and modifications.
Maintaining strong working relationships with local authorities, clients, and internal teams.
Coordinating with Site Managers and Operatives to ensure timely reinstatement and site clearance.
Updating job statuses on client portals and internal systems.
Supporting the avoidance of Section 74 charges through proactive planning.
Managing defects from identification to resolution.
Assisting with administrative duties as required by your line manager.
Building and preparing electronic job packs, including health & safety checks and utility drawings.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a civil engineering or streetworks environment is beneficial but not essential.
Strong administrative background with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent organisational andmunication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with bespoke systems is a plus.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
Willingness to learn – full training will be provided.
