The Opportunity
We're recruiting for one full-time post (£31,666 per annum, 37.5 hrs per week). Applicants may also apply for one of two part-time roles:
* Community Development Officer – 3 days per week (22.5 hrs), £19,000 per annum, 3-year fixed term, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
* Business Development & Operations Officer – 2 days per week (15 hrs), £12,666 per annum, permanent, funded by CELS Character Education & Life Skills Ltd.
Responsibilities
Community Development Officer
* Run all aspects of a new 3-year Lottery-funded project.
* Plan and deliver bilingual youth and holiday clubs.
* Recruit and manage staff/volunteers.
* Monitor, report, and manage the project budget.
* Engage with parents, schools, and the wider community.
Business Development & Operations Officer
* Act as the link person between schools and CELS.
* Promote our programmes to headteachers and senior leaders.
* Represent CELS at events and conferences.
* Supervise and support staff.
* Lead on digital promotion and marketing.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children/young people OR in business development/sales.
* Organised, proactive, and confident leading projects.
* Strong communicator with relationship-building skills.
* Flexible for some evening and school holiday work.
* Welsh language skills highly desirable.
