A well-established and rapidly growing water pump and mechanical services provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join its field engineering team.
This is a mobile, customer-facing role working on above-ground pump systems, delivering essential services to commercial sites across Kent and the Southeast.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You’ll be:
1. Installing, servicing and maintaining booster and circulator pump systems
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
3. Working with pump control panels and associated equipment
4. Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns
5. Representing the business professionally on customer sites
6. Participating in an on-call rota with enhanced earnings
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
7. Experience with pump systems (booster, circulator, or similar)
8. Strong mechanical knowledge with basic electrical competence
9. A proactive, problem-solving mindset
10. The ability to work independently in the field
11. Flexibility to travel regionally and respond to call-outs
12. A full UK driving licence
Training will be provided where needed — attitude and capability matter just as much as experience.
