SEND Learning Support Assistant - 1:1 Home-Based Support Location: Wokingham, Berkshire Start Date: ASAP Hours: 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (mornings only) Contract: Part-time, ongoing Quantum Scholars is seeking a caring, patient, and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in their home. The child has a Visual Impairment and Autism and is also learning English as an additional language. Having been out of education for some time, the primary aim of this role is to help them rebuild confidence, develop basic English and life skills, and prepare for a future placement within an SEND school setting. This is a nurturing, relationship-focused role where consistency, patience, and understanding are essential. The successful candidate will be able to create a calm and supportive learning environment, using simple, engaging activities to support communication, routine, independence, and overall engagement.
