About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategy, roadmap and commercial success of EA Technology’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) portfolio. You will play a critical role in shaping products that combine intelligent hardware, edge analytics and platform capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with our SaaS solutions and delivering real value to customers operating in safety-critical environments.
You will lead a team of Product Managers and domain specialists, ensuring product direction is driven by strong customer insight, market understanding and commercial priorities.
• Define and lead the PaaS product strategy and roadmap across hardware, edge platforms and analytics capabilities
• Lead and develop high-performing Product Managers and Product System & Domain Design teams
• Build deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitive positioning to inform product direction
• Identify, size and prioritise product opportunities using data, customer insight and commercial evaluation
• Ensure product roadmaps are driven by validated customer and market needs rather than bespoke or reactive demand
• Ensure seamless integration between edge-generated insights and SaaS platform experiences
• Collaborate closely with SaaS Product leadership to align platform direction and customer workflows
• Work with engineering teams to ensure product strategy translates into scalable, deliverable solutions
• Ensure products meet the requirements of safety-critical environments, including reliability, security, compliance and lifecycle management
• Support go-to-market activities including positioning, pricing and product launches
• Represent product strategy and investment decisions to executive, technical and commercial stakeholders
What we’ll need from you:
• Proven experience leading product management in complex B2B environments, ideally across hardware and software ecosystems
• Strong experience defining product strategy and roadmaps based on customer insight, market analysis and commercial priorities
• Experience building business cases and prioritising investments using financial and customer data
• Understanding of software-enabled hardware, edge computing or analytics platforms
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams (hardware, software, systems, security)
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance innovation with practical delivery considerations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
Desirable:
• Experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure or regulated sectors
• Experience with asset intelligence, condition monitoring or connected device solutions
• Experience working with partners, OEMs or system integrators
