Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Line Maintenance)
Job Description:
* Providing troubleshooting advice to Flight Crews and engineers worldwide for aircraft in-service defect rectification.
* Conducting daily communication with key line stations and third-party bases regarding aircraft defects, operational status, and maintenance planning.
* Monitoring deferred defects, maintenance actions, and overnight maintenance activities to prevent repair interval extensions.
* Coordinating with Flight Operations and Base Maintenance Departments to ensure aircraft readiness for daily flights.
* Managing fleet line maintenance activities globally by liaising with engineers, handling agents, flight crews, and operations managers.
* Serving as the primary contact for engineering issues within TUI Group's line maintenance and managing AOG situations.
* Collaborating with Part M, Boeing, and OEMs on technical and airworthiness queries.
* Reviewing component removal history and troubleshooting accordingly.
* Using MEL to optimize maintenance planning.
* Supporting operations proactively and deputizing for the MOC Duty Manager when needed.
Candidate Requirements:
* Holding CAA/EASA B1/B2 license.
* Recognized aircraft engineering apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
* Extensive experience in AOG resolution and recovery planning.
* Proficiency with AMOS, including maintenance planning and modification control.
* Logical thinking with problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues.
* Ability to make risk-based operational decisions.
* Strong organizational and IT skills.
* Willingness to support operations at short notice, including overseas.
