Symphony Group has an exciting opportunity for a Business Account Manager covering the Scotland area and potentially other parts of the UK. The ideal candidate will live in the Glasgow area. There may be a requirement for overnight stays. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

The Business Account Manager role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Company’s existing relationships with our New Build Contractors and Housing Associations, as well as forging new relationships.
You will do this by demonstrating professional sales abilities and promoting the Company’s high standards of products in new build homes across the area.
Key responsibilities of the Business Account Manager role:
* Servicing and managing existing accounts to a high standard.
* Managing call-offs, preparing quotations, handling amendments, managing debt and customer expectations, and proactively managing delivery dates, extras, and variations.
* Achieving turnover growth within existing and new accounts; sales experience is desirable.
* Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the industry’s customer base and competitors.
This is an integral role within the Company and requires full responsibility for managing customer requirements across the area.
Requirements for our Business Account Manager:
* Experience working within fast-track building processes, dealing with Contractors, ideally within the Kitchen, Bathroom, or Bedroom industry.
* Knowledge of industry standards, company terms of trading, product range, and major competitors.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* The ability to think creatively to find solutions.
* A full UK driving licence.

* Confident in communicating with people at all levels to develop relationships with Architects, Specifiers, Site/Project Managers, Buyers, Senior Managers, and Directors.
* Able to work under pressure.
* Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
* Willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
