Role Overview
You’ll be teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience being a bonus. Topics include programming, software development, and computer systems. You’ll be responsible for planning engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and maintaining a well-equipped learning space.
Key Duties
* Deliver engaging and structured Computer Science lessons
* Help students develop programming and problem-solving skills
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Maintain a well-organised and fully resourced computer lab
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and resources
* Contribute to wider school life and responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
* QTS or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
* Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
* Strong grasp of the curriculum and subject matter
* Energetic and practical approach to teaching
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
