IT Support Engineer - MSP

Salary up to £30,000 + Hybrid Working
We’re hiring a skilled IT Support Engineer to join this fantastic MSP team in Bournemouth, focused on resolving complex technical issues and maintaining strong client relationships. The role involves troubleshooting escalated support queries, proactively monitoring systems, and ensuring customer environments remain secure, stable, and fully operational. If you have MSP experience, this is highly desirable, although not a dealbreaker.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Handling technical escalations from the 1st Line team.
* Performing system maintenance, updates, and monitoring.
* Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge.
* Managing incidents and service requests through to resolution.
* Communicating with internal teams and customers.
* Working with technologies including Windows 11, SCCM/MECM, SonicWall, Fortinet, and Microsoft Defender.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Previous experience in an MSP is highly desirable.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
* Background in a customer‑focused IT environment.
* Good understanding of ITIL principles.
* Experience with Microsoft technologies and services.
