Educational Psychologist Salary: Soulbury Scale A 3-8 £47,688 - £57,954 (plus up to 3 SPA points) Contract type - Full time, permanent contract (part time and temporary may be considered) Work Style - Field: working in communities across the city We are recruiting an Educational Psychologist (EP) to join our strong, highly regarded and supportive team of EPs. The service is involved in a wide range of work and there are lots of exciting opportunities for EPs to apply psychology in creative ways to promote inclusion and positive outcomes for all children and young people. The service provides a substantial traded offer to local settings which is well received and continues to develop. It also leads on and contributes to a wide range of project and development work, such as ATTUNE our whole school trauma informed project, ELSA and the EBSNA pathway, as well as providing commissioned support to the multi-agency autism pathway, the youth justice service and the virtual school. The role of EPs is understood and highly valued within the Council. We use a realistic time allocation model which means that we allocate work in a fair and transparent way and maintain an achievable workload for all team members. The range of work is good and typically under a third of an EPs time is allocated to statutory and core work. There are also opportunities for EPs to both engage in, and lead, project and development work in areas of interest.
